1. General description

The 200KW gravity copper casting furnace adopts the two melting pool design and the two induction body structure.

The advantages of this structure are to balance the temperature of the melting pool and all parts of the furnace to

achieve the energy-saving effect, and to improve the range of electromagnetic stirring so that all elements in the

furnace are more evenly distributed. The purpose of gravity copper casting furnace: melting and holding of red

copper, bronze, brass and other copper alloys.

3. Working principle and main structure

The copper casting furnace is designed based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. The alternating magnetic

flow is generated after the induction coil is applied with alternating voltage. The magnetic flow passes through the iron

core to form a closed magnetic circuit. This alternating magnetic flow induces electromotive force and secondary

current in the molten chamber. This current converts electrical energy into heat energy through the resistance of

the metal charge, and the heat energy melts the metal in the chamber.

3.2 The copper melting holding furnace is composed of furnace body, furnace frame, induction body, electric furnace

cooling system, electrical control cabinet, etc.

Electric furnace voltage range: 90V, 120V, 150V, 180V, 210V, 250V, 300V, 380V.

3.3 The gravity casting electric furnace adopts two vertical iron core induction structures. The shell is made of steel

plate. The molting pool is lined with thermal insulation materials and refractory materials and then built with

refractory bricks.

3.4 The sensor body is composed of two sensors, two iron cores and two pieces of molten groove. The sensing

body shell is composed of refractory knotting material and water-cooled jacket. The induction melting furnace

body is water-cooled: in order to remove the refractory material conveniently and reduce the power loss of the

induction body shell, the induction body shell is composed of two halves, with insulating material sandwiched

in the middle, and the induction body shell is based on the above flange surface during assembly.

3.5 During the melting process, the inlet water temperature shall not be higher than 35 ℃, and the outlet water

temperature shall be higher than 55 ℃, and the water flow shall be regularly measured. If the water flow is

lower than the required water flow, the scale shall be cleaned.

3.6 The cooling water quality of the industrial induction furnace shall meet the following requirements: the PH value

is within the range of 7~8, the hardness is not more than 7, and the total content of suspended solids and dissolved

solids is not more than 10, so as to prevent the cooling water from scaling and blocking the water path.
