Industrial 10000Kg Oil Fired Aluminum Holding Furnace
1. Features
The pool type aluminum holding furnace is mainly used for
preserving the temperature of the non-ferrous metal.
The holding furnace for gravity casting adopts the high quality
burner with a large flame radiation size and a high heat efficiency.
The temperature of the aluminum liquid is controlled with an
accuracy of ±5℃. The oxygen content of the furnace atmosphere
is less than 5% which could effective prevent generation of oxides.
The die casting holding furnace for aluminum is designed with a
superb heat insulation structure which effectively reduce heat
radiation, and improve heat efficiency.
The holding furnace for aluminum casting process is lined with high
alumina bricks with a service life of more than 3 years.
The aluminum holding furnace is equipped with the special burning
system and the supporting air fan with a low working noise for both.

3. Furnace Structure
3.1 steel structure
The shell of the oil fired aluminum holding furnace is made of steel
plate and sectional steel. The furnace is designed with the up-down
function so as to work with other equipment.
3.2 lining
The melting pool is built with high alumina bricks which have a high
strength, a long service life, and non-adhering with molten aluminum.
(compression strength: 140Mpa at a temperature higher than 110℃;
linear change rate: 0.1%). Heat insulation material used is of 1st grade
silicate aluminum fiber board.
3.3 burning system
The aluminum holding furnace is equipped with the diesel oil burning
system. It has the functions of automatic temperature control, automatic
ignition, and flame detection. When the furnace reaches the set temperature,
the burner stops. When the furnace temperature is lower than set value, the
burner starts to work automatically. The burning is set with a safety
protection function which could cut off main burner and ignition device
automatically if the burner is not completely working of flame goes out.
Additionally there is an interlock device between the pressure switches
of oil pipe and air pipe. The temperature is controlled by PID regulation method.
3.4 liquid outlet
The aluminum liquid outlet is manually operated.
3.5 temperature control
Automatic temperature control flame switch, over-temperature alarm,
and flame-out protection.
