electric heating coil or a gas burner. When the oven is powered on, the heating

electric - heated oven, an electric current passes through the high - resistance
heating coil, generating heat due to the Joule effect.
1.2 Air Circulation A fan is a crucial part of the oven. Once the air is heated, the
fan starts to operate. It draws in the heated air from around the heating element
and then blows it into the oven chamber. The circulated hot air spreads evenly
throughout the chamber, reaching all the items placed inside. This ensures that
every part of the product experiences the same temperature, eliminating hot
and cold spots.
1. 3 Temperature Control A thermostat or a more advanced temperature - control
system is used to regulate the temperature inside the oven. Temperature sensors,
such as thermocouples, are placed inside the chamber. These sensors continuously
monitor the temperature and send the data to the controller. If the temperature is
lower than the set value, the controller signals the heating element to produce
more heat. Conversely, if the temperature exceeds the set value, the heating element's
power is reduced or turned off.
1. 4 Curing Process As the hot air circulates around the products in the oven, it
transfers heat to them. For materials like coatings or adhesives, this heat initiates
chemical reactions that cause them to cure. During the curing process, the material
changes from a liquid or semi - liquid state to a solid state, developing its desired
physical and chemical properties such as hardness, strength, and adhesion.
1.5 Exhaust System Some hot air curing circulation ovens also have an exhaust system.
This system is used to remove any volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or other
by - products generated during the curing process. The exhaust helps maintain a
clean and safe working environment and can prevent the accumulation of potentially
harmful substances inside the electric drying oven.
